A slender orchid to, 30 cm tall, with several grass-like leaves near the base and a spiralling flower spike, to 8 cm long, with up to 40 small, pink and white flowers.

LEAVES: In a loose basal tuft, linear to narrowly oblanceolate, to 10 cm x 13 mm, hairless, flat or slightly channelled. Stem bracts 3-5, linear to 3 cm long, stem-clasping.
